New Hope - An Eclectic Village

New Hope - A Small Borough With Many Contrasts

The official web page for New Hope, Pennsylvania says its a "sophisticated yet country-casual town ". This sounds like a typical Mid-Atlantic small village. However when visiting New Hope you will find its much more eclectic than the official web page leads to believe. The village is historic by nature. There are many restored homes which contain quaint bed and breakfasts. There are the expected antique shops and restaurants. But you will also find gay bars, biker bars and restaurants, new age shops with folks dressed in medieval costumes, and even an old man walking the streets with his pet monkey. Its a fascinating place with many different faces all waiting to surprise you.

Hi Larry, I miss this wonderful spot, my home town. Did I ever mention that I worked on much of the stained glass at the Logan Inn. Sadly they took a bunch of it down a few years ago.

Thanks Larry for your page about a typical Mid-Atlantic small village. Nevertheless I've found 8 VT-rated pages there. It means it's rather popular! Best regards from Moscow!
