There's a new dog in town.....

Meet Lady Delilah. Mark and I adopted this beautiful baby on January 5, 2008 from a lab rescue organization. After loosing our beloved Mercedes on New Years Day we decided to wait a couple of months before finding a new dog. However after just one day we realized the house was just too empty and quiet. There was no one trailing us from room to room. No doggie toe nails tapping on the hallway floor. So we went searching and came up with this pretty girl.

First Snow of the winter - Baltimore Dec 5, 2007

The first snowfall of the year always makes me feel like a kid again. By the second or third snowfall I am sick of it, tired of shoveling, and can't wait for spring. But the first snowfall is always magical. I just took this picture of our dog, Mercedes, exploring the first snowfall today.

My new step child

On Christmas day 2006 my daughters returned from visiting their Aunt (my sister) with a little surprise for me. The brought home this little ball of fluff which my sister could no longer keep. Her name is Sophie and she is my newest step child. She is two years old and loves to stay on the sofa or on your lap. My sisters situation changed a little and she wanted her beautiful Sophie back. So I reluctantly let Sophie return. In just a matter of a few weeks she completely stole my heart.

lived just across the border on Frederick Rd. Oella? or further up the hill? I know that road like the back of my hand, or at least up to the turn off for UMBC :P
