L.L.L. = Larry Loves Lisbon - Lisbon

There are few places I have fallen in love immediately. It usually takes me a day or two to get the feeling of a city and begin to appreciate it. Lisbon was an exception. I literally fell in love with the city from my very first impresssion and I grew to appreciate it more and more each day. I was not sure what to expect when I planned the trip. I knew I was going to a VT meeting. I knew Lisbon was the capitol of Portugal. And I did some minimal research in a guide book before the trip. Lisbon is not a destination that was high on my must see list. I did not know anyone who had been there. Now that I have been there I will not hesitate to sing it praises and tell other travelors not to miss out on a wonderful opportunity to visit a fascinating city.
