Helsingor is a beautiful little town with a very big castle. Also known as Elsinore in English, the town is known for its literary association with William Shakesphere's Hamlet Prince of Denmark. Its less than an hours train ride from the Copenhagen Central Station and well worth an afternoons visit. |

LoriPori Mon Jul 16, 2007 12:00 UTC Helsingor looks like a great place to visit esp. the Hamlets Castle. Thanks Larry for visiting my Marseille page. | bpacker Fri Sep 9, 2005 13:43 UTC A beautiful page, Larry, even if the camera timer went a little wonky. | Bwana_Brown Mon May 23, 2005 01:02 UTC This looks like a great little town, and the castle is pretty impressive too! You have to love those old houses that have 'character'! | craic Wed May 11, 2005 14:34 UTC Well, Will should have belonged to Vt then he would have known that Hamlet could not have lived in that castle. (BTW I am a bit uneven and bowed with age myself, just like those walls.) |
