City at the End of the World. It almost sounds like a Star Trek episode or a Jules Verne novel. But in reality it is Ushuaia that is the city at the end of the world. I first read about Ushuaia when I began research for my trip to Buenos Aires. And from the moment I read about it, I knew I had to go there. So its a three hour plane ride from Buenos Aires. How many chances will I ever get to be that close to the end of the world? I had problems getting plane tickets, I had problems with the airlines, and I had problems convincing myself it was all worth the effort. Well it was more than worth the effort. Ushuaia is exotic, its touristy, it has natural beauty that competes with Switzerland, and it has great beer. Its the perfect trip for this VTer.

Going down Memory Lane! Had an amazing time when I was in Ushuaia this year!x
I enjoyed a little chuckle over your "three hour cruise" choice.. a refrain from the 60's "Gilligans Island"..Ive also read about Ushuaia and its definitely on any itinerary I assemble for a little look around down at this end of the World....seems you scored a great hotel there for your stay..Thanks for the little look around.. :o)
