Filled with wonderful people and exhilirating beaches, this small area of Mexico was a brilliant discovery. Please take the time to organize yourself for visits around the area. Chichen Itza, Xcaret, Tulum and Cozumel are a definite must.
If you are looking for untouched reefs, my family and I fell upon Puerto Morelos and were completely mesmorized by the natural aspect of it (fishing, snorkeling, diving and kiteboarding without the tons of tourists invading your relaxation time).
Rather than staying at one of the all-inclusive resorts, book yourself a small hotel downtown. |
