Getting TO/AROUND: If you are in neighboring town, yes its worth the distance, take the train. For more information on schedules: http://www.renfe.es/ingles/ If you are planning to stay at the Uni residence (which is common) you can take the city bus right into town and even into San Juan for the beach. As for anything else, your legs serve well :) Its a friendly town, either way, don't go walking alone, you simply never know. For any Bus inquiries please contact the central bus station in Alicante(C/ Portugarl, 17) Telephone: 96-5130700 By bus to Downtown Alicante from the Airport is approx 600 pesetas ($6 CAN)
