Fiji Sunrise

It's been several years since our Fiji honeymoon and I daydream frequently of returning...soon! It was such a lovely country.

There weren't very many people around, especially other Americans because there was a military coupe just three months before we went. But you could hardly tell, on the restort anyway. We did have to pass one armed checkpoint, which seemed like just a formality.

Everyone was fantastic! Though there were some things we weren't used to, like no traffic control devices. Our taxi sped through the streets however it could, dodging this way and that around the traffic. I don't think I even saw a "yield" sign ("give way" in British lingo).

I would like to go back and check out the resort we stayed at before but I'd also like to see more of Suva. I suppose I could spend a very pleasant month there.
