If you want to see a holiday 'haven of rest'of Romans, visit lake Albano (south-east from Rome, 30min by car. It's a beutifull place where you can walk/run/cycle around the lake, take a sun on the sandy beach or rent a sculler and go to plow the waves of limpid water.

This Botanical Garden is very quiet place with Palm Promenade, Founatin of the Tritons, Rose garden, Bamboo, Japanese Garden, Roman Woodland, Monumental Staircase, Conifers, Tropical Greenhouse....and many more.
