Our first reaction to Naples was, “Let’s get the hell outta here!”. The dirt, the noise, the traffic — maybe we’re just not cut out for the big cities. I’ve since read in various guidebooks and travelogues that Naples is hugely underrated as a destination and there are treasures hidden beneath all that grime. Perhaps we’ll have to give it a second chance.
