What can I say? This place blew me away. A huge city, possibly the 2nd or 3rd largest in the world. Modern buildings next to shanties. Most of the poverty I heard of in Brazil is not very visible in Sao Paulo. I wasn't expecting such a modern city. The newest "downtown" area I stayed in "Brooklin" was on par with any downtown I'd seen in the world. The people were friendly, the food was fantastic and not expensive, and the shopping malls were plentiful. I didn't get to Rio or the beach but I AM GOING BACK! |
