Getting TO/AROUND: I tried the subway once...and its way confusing maybe because I went during rush hour.

However, I find NY Subway lack of sign and screen to show where and how you from and to unlike London Underground.

It is an experience to take NY subway, its just like to movies and in away it does help when you walk to much from downtown and uptown and its time for you to return to hotel in the bed. It is also the cheapest way to get around.

Interesting abt metro card that I've come across is that you only required to purchase one ticket for all your family(as in all entry with one card by handing over the gate, but makesure you have a correct balance on your card.

I will take the subway again on my future visit.....

Getting TO/AROUND: I took NY cab all the way from JFK to hotel directly as it was very very late at night and jet lag.

JFK - American Airlines Terminal 9 provide taxi lane and cost you only at flat rate rather than meter. So for us we paid USD49 and entirely up to you on how much to pay tip.

Getting TO/AROUND: Grayline sightseeing is a good choice for those coming to New York for the first time and yet had little time to explore.

If you get 3 day ticket which cost USD 110 per person not only includes advance ticket to Empire State and Cruise to Statue of Liberty but 3 day allows you to hop on hop off bus all the major attraction.
