SOME FACTS ABOUT LONDON Biggest city of Great Britain and even Europe. Occupies at least about 600 sq miles. It comprises the City of London, and the 32 boroughs, of which 13 are in Inner London and 19 are in Outer London.
And apparently, there are approximately 300 languages are spoken in this multicultural city. Obviously due to multicultural society, you can easily access and reach almost anything includes food, entertainment, things to see and things to do. London has everything to over from nightlife, parks, historical places, amusement park, cinemas, sports centres, gym centres, gateway holiday excursions and one of world busiest shopping streets is in London. Except one thing London doesnt have is a holiday beach.
I considered London has very effiecient and well connected public transport system to compare any part of this world London has at least 5 international airports includes Heathrow and Gatwick so not suprising London airport itself were rated as the busiest airport in the world. (You will notice this when is your first time landing at Heathrow Airport). Then transport around the city itself provides famous TUBE or underground, lots of double decker buses, overland train, taxi and even now some trishaw can be found around Leicester Square.

PLANNING TO GO Early April - Spring June to August - Summer* Highly recommended Early October - Autumn
Any other months not mentioned above would be quite challenging holiday especially for first timer. London has one of the highest average rainfall to compare any other city, so carrying an umbrella during your trip is fine but to create an enjoyable fun sightseeing would be almost impossible, even during summer time, when it rain temperature can easily drop to 10-15 degree celcius. I strongly advise to travel in summer coz that is perfect time to explore sights of London, without the sun the city can become dull. But if you're looking for cheap fares, then the winter months will always have great flight deals. One thing to know, city of London hardly snows, so if you're thinking to go a white holiday, London should not be in your list. ___________________________________________________________________ |
