First impression, Amazing. The historical city is consist of two continent, Europe (Thrace) and Asia (Anatolia), divided by the strait of Bophorus.

This famous city was formerly a roman empire Byzantine and Constantine through Ottoman empire which influenced a lot on generation today.

WHEN TO GO

Mid September to October probably the most suitable time to visit Istanbul, as you have light breeze and nice sunshine and cool in the evening.

Though generally, climate in Istanbul is very much similar to neighboring countries such Bulgaria and Greece but temperature in the inner city itself can be quite different probably geographically reason that attracts low pressure from the Marmara Sea.

GETTING TO ISTANBUL

Istanbul has two airports, one is closer to the city which is the Ataturk main airport located on the european side meanwhile Sabinha Gocken is on the Asian side slightly further from the city.

All international commercial airline will be flying to Ataturk while most budget airlines such Easyjet is flying to Sabinha. Therefore before you looking to book your flight please check airport destination of your flight as I personally think that Ataturk is more convenient and save more time.
