PROBABLY known as Mini England. Cameron Highland again is situated within Pahang and Perak state border, but Pahang dominantly rules this area.
Why known MINI ENGLAND? Obviously, the scenery and the climate. I agree a little, but it was quite a great experience for those who have never been to england, could make good use as a stepping stone. Tea Plantation are amazing and houses makes the differences. Some of chalets and guesthouses around that area were actually British resident area during the Colonial time. Particularly ex-british covent school which now known as Bala's Chalet. Now you can have tea and scones while enjoying the cool weather. Another great spot if ever stay overnight is a visit a Brinchang town night market, you may find strawberries and cream enjoyed by the locals. Also dining is also fabulous during my visit at the Equatorial Hill Resort to have Home grown steamboats which only cost less than GBP3 per head. Waking up at early morning and feel the cold crisp in the air before heading for English Breakfast(halal) was a fantastic moment. |
