  • Tip Rating:

  • You know! Searching food in Malaysia wouldnt be a major problem! But there is varieties of cuisine until you really need to decide what is really best for your taste! So, i suggest you to servay and stop by whatever shop that attract you!
But really, good and cheap food, Penang Island is the right place!

    Picture shown known as Tosai!
Most of it are open spaces concept. Humid though sometimes. Price range :RM3-RM20,Cheap though!
Beverage why not try yogurt drink!

Favorite Dish: Well, i can't really verify which is the best! But i suggest you all should try BANANA LEAF MEAL, NASI LEMAK(can be very hot!), PRAWN NOODLE(penang known), NASI AYAM(means chicken rice!),CHAPATI, NASI KANDAR!, so much more until i couldnt resist....
You all should just find your own way!

Suria KLCC: The city most popular for sweet and savories!!

  • Restaurant Name: La Cucur

La Cucur, can be found on Lower Ground floor of Suria KLCC or in KL Sentral.
Great place to get your sweets and savories in air conditioning cafe or else in the mall, clean and convenient. Sample some Malaysian kuih (savories) or have a cup of Malaysian teh tarik (pull tea) and a reasonable price.

Favorite Dish: Curry puff is the famous one! Also try Onde-Onde, Kuih Talam or any colourful cakes made of coconut that catch your eye. I guarantee you will like it and you can afford it.

Dare to have hot and spicy rice for breakfast? Well, this is a typical a Malay for breakfast meal selling at many many stalls or street vendors you can find withing Klang Valley.

Favorite Dish: Nasi Lemak is consist of Coconut rice served with condiments such Sambal anchovies, peanuts, omellette or boiled egg and fresh slice cucumber. Sometimes if you wish, Chicken rendang maybe served together. Best have it with Teh Tarik (sort of shake tea with milk)

To me, is a must have breakfast if you ever in Malaysia

Street vendors and hawkers: Roti Canai also for Breakfast
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Satisfaction:
  • Restaurant Name: Street vendors and hawkers

Roti canai (known most of westerner as pan cakes) is one of the most popular dish served for breakfast in Malaysia. It's also a must have and plenty of street vendors especially the mamak make a good roti canai.

Favorite Dish: Roti canai generally eaten plain with fish or chicken curry. But some locals like me preferred Roti canai filled with slices banana (called Roti Pisang). Try this you know what I meant.
