Church in the Akamas - so Cyprus! - Polis

We visited Cyprus for the first time this year and enjoyed it very much. We travelled to the Polis/Latchi area on the west coast. This is the quiet side of the island and we were very near the Akamas peninsula and the Troodos mountains. We wanted to snorkle the Akamas and visit the monasteries of the Troodos

Hi Nada1712, beautiful tips of Polis. I like these monasteries. I've never been to Cyprus :( Any excitin plans for this summer?

Last visit '04 so wanted to see it all again. Great to get a view of the "quiet" side...such delightful explanations of how it made you feel. Enjoyable reading, excellent photographs, and somewhat mystical at that!
