I've been to Seychelles many times, I love it and I must say that's one of my favourite spots of all the tropical islands I've visited till now. It's close to Europe, only a few hours difference from GMT, people there are so friendly and they always smile and wave to you when you meet them. They are catholic and after long years of communism, now they seem to do just fine.. Food there is GREAT! Excellent French/creole cuisine with superb south african wine, crabs, lobsters, prawns, red snappers... One couldn't ask for more! And the beaches are so perfect, you see them all the time on commercials, white sand, crystal clear water, and the temperature is never too cold and never too hot... Even the water is always warm, it's really paradise! The only problem is that it's quite expensive as a tourist to stay there, so read my tips and see if you can save up your money! |
