Transportation: Well, for overseas visitors,...

Getting TO/AROUND: Well, for overseas visitors, air transportation is the best bet. London has several major airports, all serving international flights. Heathrow, is the biggest and most popular, followed by Gatwick and Stansted and London City Airport. The other ones I am not familiar with. All airports have access to public transportation which is cheap(comparatively), clean and quick. You can take the express trains, the Tube, or Taxi's, or you can have someone pick you up! If you are from other parts of Europe, obviously rail transportation is easier and most trains arive in Waterloo. The rest of the country is served by Motorways, which are clogged most of the time.
Obviously the best way to get around is either public transportation or driving a car. But beware, in the UK, they drive on the other side of the road. A trippy occurence for a newcomer!
