California has everything. Beautiful landscapes, home, people, trees, water, etc.. Before coming to California, it was that mystical place idolized on Beverly Hills 90210, and other movies. It was where only fabulously wealthy people lived in their magnificent homes. It was where dreams came true and where the world's tallest trees grew. It was were alternative lifestyles flourished. Well, to tell you the truth, while I enjoyed California, it didn't live up to its hype. I found it expensive, crowded, dirty, and a major dissppointment. Its saving grace was San Francisco. I knew it would be expensive, but that didn't hinder the fun and the exquisite views. The bay was gorgeous and the seafood was great. LA, well, that is just a big pit. Although it has its highlights, and US 1 is prettier in Oregon. But, every destination has its downfalls, depending on personal taste. California is worth a visit and I would definately go again. Ask me to live there? HAHA, don't think so..
