I had a brilliant time in Israel, I was there for nearly a year, so much to see and do for such a small place. I found it quite mind blowing when I went to places like the Sea of Galilee & Jerusalem etc and that I was actually there, after all the Bible stories you learn as a child.
As well as travelling around Israel I was also a volunteer on Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar in the upper Galilee also had a short (very!) spell as an au pair near Netanya

Wow! This took me right back to 1987 and my stay in the big rowdy volunteer house! Amazed that it is still going. It is wonderful to see so many young people from all over the world live together as we did nearly 20 years ago. . |
