I booked Amsterdam as a surprise birthday present for my husband. We were there for 4 days & saw as much as we could. I found it a very laid back, relaxing & safe city, especially as it is the capital.

What awesome info you have on Amsterdam and the story of Anne Frank...I was in Amsedam for only 4 hrs and am sorry I didn't get a chance to see the house.

Sorry about the tulips. What a dissapointment to wait so long to see they were the wrong color. I've only been in Amsterdam briefly. Hope to return someday.
