During our big trip mentioned on my Homepage, we were away over Christmas and ended up in staying in Evora. Once our present were opened, (mainly all Freyas!) we decided to go to Mosaraz to pass the time Christmas Day.
Monsaraz is a beautiful hilltop village on the Portugal/Spanish boarder.
It has recenrtly applied to become a UNESCO WOrld Heritage Site, & I personally think it should be. |
| | There is a very small bull ring here in Monsaeaz. Apparently it is mainly used for trainee Matadors and also during the second week in September there are bull fights, and processions for the Festa de Nossa Senhora dos Passos |
