Today Luxembourg is a tax haven and one of the financial capitals of Europe. We found the wealth of this country very obvious when we visited.
The national language is Letzeburgesch, although there are three official languages of Luxembourg France, German and Letzeburgesch. We spoke French there.

Spooky campsite, eerie customs ... what a beautiful place! ... love the opening picture.
Nice overview of this beautiful country. We are planning to visit, but I guess it will be a rather short visit, so we will stick to Luxembourg City only.
I just came back from Luxembourg (let's see when I'll get around making my own page!) It was better than I expected! I have almost the same photo from Bourscheid! I love your EERIE LUX tip! :)
Thank you for the nice tips,it's helped a lot.
Luxembourg certainly seems like a great place to wander 'round. Never heard of the Catholic custom with the burning strawman & cross! Would like to visit some of the American WWII cemetaries there! Good page!
really enjoyed this, I went to Luxembourg in 1980 to stay 2 weeks with my penpal and loved the country. Maybe one day I'll be able to return
Hi Nicola, Great tips on Luxembourg! Especially the one about the catholic ritual. I haven't been by your pages recently so I stopped to take a look, I hope you are well, Kat
My that is a spooky photograph. I really liked what I saw in Luxembourg and I wished that I spent more time there than two days. Very fine page.
Very helpful tips on Luxembourg. I am going there in two weeks and had planned to stay just at the capital. I see I can do much more now.. as a start the Bourscheid castle of course.
I've been to the capital only but it seems next time I should visit Bourscheid as well.
