Lago Di Garda is the largest of the north Italian lakes with a perimeter of 162 km. The majority of the lake lies with in the Lombardia region with the northen tip & Riva Del Garda falling in Trentino.

A long narrow golf club shape, the lake also has the less well name of Lake Benaco.

Beautiful place -- I wanna go there......especially get some of the blood in Limone..... Very low incidence of heart disease all over Italy I believe and I was guessing that it is the fresh food.....garden to mouth and beautiful olive oil.. Great page.

Another delightful tour of a very lovely place. The restaurant overhanging the cliff might be a bit much for those of us who have a fear of heights.
