"Glass Making Island" Murano by freya_heaven

Murano Travel Guide: 111 reviews and 382 photos

We visited Murano on a beautiful, Sunny but freezing cold day. We got there only minutes before the glass blowing factory closed & we didnt have long until the ferry we wanted to get on next departed. Although my time there was probably less than an hour (Its is very small!), I have great memories of it.

Murano is known for its glass and crystal which has been made here since the 10th century.

Pros and Cons

Glad you at least had a short visit here. I am sure you could have spent hours. I know I could. I love Murano paperweights.

I think we had about an hour here - trying to keep one step ahead of the storm which was blowing in!
