    Getting TO/AROUND:
We were so jammy to be offered a lift back all the way to Amman, by the restaurant manager, who actually lived in Amman and worked away from home in Wadi Rum.

It turned out in to a very eventful following24 hours....................Anyway I diverse

Photo is of the Road to Wadi Rum, taken not far from the Junction with the romantically named "Desert Highway!"

    Getting TO/AROUND:
Apart from when we were taken by truck to the Bedouin tent in the night (read my Rum Intro Page!) We walked everywhere we went during our 2 days in Wadi Rum.
A book by Tony Howard called "Treks & Climbs in the Mountains of Wadi Rum & Petra" is recommended if you want to do some serious walking & climbing.

You are able to organise Jeep trips and also Camel Tours through the Desert for a few day all the way down to Aqaba, I think it takes 3 days by Camal.

Actually I think camels probably have feet too, Do they? (~_~)

Nice page, I would like to visit someday... I have to admit from the picture, I would not have realised that was a graveyard either!

What an experience! What a birthday celebration. Yes, you are much braver than I would have been. But, exotic, memorable, and unique. Just wonderful pages, & your introduction is fantastic.
