The beautiful palace of Chantilly is a few miles north of Paris, it is an ideal daytrip if you are staying in the Paris area.

Chantilly is also known for its world famous stables and race course. The palace was severely looted during the French Revolution, but has since been refurbish and renovated where needed.

    I remember being virtually compelled to visit Chantilly by a VT member instead of Versaille which I had already visited. I did not regret that advise. Nice tips Nicola.
