Temple of Abu Simbel Travel Guide: 313 reviews and 919 photos
Abu Simbel has been lucky enough to be given a second life. For centurys it was buried by the drifting sands & then nearly drowned under the waters of Lake Nasser.
- Pros:Beautiful landscape & Lake Nasser, Impressive Temples
- Cons:Long Journey to get there from Aswan
- In a nutshell:You must visit if you are in Aswan

Wow a bus!!! You are a very patient person. I broke the bank and flew myself. Abu Simbel is worth the effort.
My daughter is persuading me to go to Egipt. I will consider this after reading your tips.

In Valley of The Queens, there's a tomb called Tomb of Nefertari (not Nefertiti) :) It's the most expensive tomb to enter, limit to 150 people per day ! The price is 100 EP ! I read about this today...:) Love your photos ! Regards.
Wonderful page of Abu Simbel !! I hope to go back someday, maybe by boat ....
