I have to admit, Aqaba didnt really do much for me, I think we were both quite shattered from travelling & wanted a few rest days.

It seemed a nice enough town, friendly people, as they have been all over Jordan. Aqaba had a bit of a out of season holiday town feel to it. The rain probably didnt help

After the amazing sites we had just been visiting before hitting Aqaba, it didnt really have much chance (~_~)

Pros and Cons

Pros:Its next to the Red Sea
Cons:Not much to do there
In a nutshell:Wouldnt bother going back again

Honest is the way to go ... you can quite relive the experience just about anywhere in India, we have plenty of those :)

Admire your honesty. Thanks for the warning. I did enjoy your restaurant tips! Hotel sounds dreadful.
