    • Our stay in the Sunset Hotel was fine, I cant really remember much about it, so it must have been ok. We went out for dinner with a couple of German men we met at the hotel, it was a sociable place.

    With getting up at 5.30 in the morning to be at petra for opening at 6am, we really didnt spend much time there

    • I didnt actually do this although I would have loved to.

    Some American and Danish friends of mine, stayed in Petra after dark and actually set up camp and stayed the night within Petra itself.

    It is not allowed, but they got away with it & what a wonderful memory they are left with, Lucky Them!
