  Do u think its worth going to Amman for a quick visit or wait until on way to Damascus?As for the cafes-well its a mens cafe-women go to nicer cafes for families&women-he prob got his knickers in a knot after being so used to boxed thinkg in his domain!

  Did a great job on Jordan pages... I actually lived there for three years ... in West Amman - Shmensani area. By the way, I can translate the song for you :-) He's supposed to be very famous Egyptian singer.

  The name you are looking for is Abdallah mosque... It's relatively recent and is/was the biggest one in Amman. The actual king is indeed building an even bigger one...
