"En Gedi Oasis" `En Gedi by freya_heaven

`En Gedi Travel Guide: 105 reviews and 295 photos

En Gedi is a beautiful oasis in an otherwise dry & seemingly barren area.

Spashing around in the water falls is a welcome relief from the heat of the Dead Sea area.

En Gedi translates as "Spring of the Kid". Not only is there a nature reserve there, but also beaches, which belong to a local kibbutz, vegetarian restaurant and a Spa.

beautiful places! You would think they would try and preserve the Dead Sea since it's such a big attraction and all. q*o*p

Two more of my favorite memories in Israel. Too bad they're drying up the Dead Sea. Stephen
