I loved it here, There are SOOO many beautiful elephants of all ages.

The Government run Orphanage was set up to look after Orphaned and wild Elephants. There are over 60 in the orphanage. When They are adults most of the elephants become working elephants.

Nice pictures, great place. I liked the fact that the Elephants went their own way, most weren't even tethered.

this lovely page brings back memories of a wonderful day, we loved Pinnawala, and feeding a baby elephant remains one the best highlights of my son`s life
