"Down in the Shires, where the Hobbitses live"............................................ Oops wrong Shire
The country of Devon (Devonshire) is in the south west of Britain. You have to drive though Devon to reach Cornwall. I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful county of England, there are many beautiful contrasting areas to explore here.

- Pros:Beautiful coast & countryside & Cream teas
- Cons:Too many holiday makers in the Summer & bottle necks!

"It's a dangerous business, going out of your door. You step into the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to." Thanks for a glimpse at your hometown. I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
From BILLYDUSK very nice site. You have put a lot into your pages, and kindly think of others when giving information. I'm certainly going to visit beautiful Devon soon. From Will Jones, West Sussex.
I have been in Devon a couple of time but never really visited ! Thank you to show all what I have missed. However, I am not much excited about parachute jumping !
Thanks for a delightful tour of Devon, Nicola. Pebbly beaches, travelling markets, steam engines, para jumping ... sounds like a fun trip to do. Not forgeting the Christie home ... been a huge fan of Poirot :)
your hometown looks very nice.
