~Tantalizing Tunisia!~

Tunisia is very naturally diverse. There is much to see and do there, visit the Atlas Mountains, Sahara Desert, Salt Lakes and the warm, palm edged beaches of the north & east of the country.

Tunisia is rich in places of natural, historical & cultural interests. The Romans were here in their hay day & left the impressive Amphiteatre at El Djem as well as other sites around the country.

It is a Muslim country, but Christian influences can be seen from French colonial days gone by in the impressive cathedral at Tunis.

Beautiful page Nicola! Fresh dates, oasis in the middle of the desert, raqs sharqi ... brought back some fond memories from the past :) Love the picture of the Sahara sunset with the bedouin fire.

Tunisia is a wonderful place, but, I think I need a guide like you for me to be motivated to go. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Nicola for a great tour! Liked the 'cultural tip', great one to the naive tourists! A memorable train journey, perhaps, your Pallin moment? ;)
