Shortest VT Meet Ever
Held at the DFW Airport Hyatt Regency lounge/bar to honor Geisha_Girl's presence in Dallas (if even only for the 2 hours she waited for her connecting flight.)

We had a great time, doing lemon-drop shots, signing post cards, talking about our various travels and people we'd met.... all as an excuse to get hammered in the middle of the afternoon.

In attendence were: myself, geanster (Gina), the President (Mr. Bush), Geisha_Girl (Rochelle), Kodi01 (Kathy) and Erica who is not shown. She was kind enough to take this picture.

After meeting the President, line-dancing, mastering the sport of bull-riding, and trying out for the Dallas Cowboy's cheerleaders, Geisha needed to get back to her gate... but we had a lot of fun in just two hours. Y'all come back now, ya hear?

Dallas skyline from my bedroom window

Dallas is currently my home.

I've lived in Dallas for about 10 years now. I came to visit my sister and ended up never leaving, which is odd for me since, previous to living in Dallas, I'd never lived anywhere longer than 4 years!

So, I guess, for now, this is 'home'.

As they say around here: "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I could."

The picture was taken through a window screen, which is why it looks like it does.
