A Blue City in a Sea of Red To live in Austin for any length of time is to lament the fact that it isn't "like it used to be." We always complain about it becoming too much like Dallas and Houston and losing the unique Austin feel. We even have bumper stickers that read "Keep Austin Weird." But it is still a great place to live, with better scenery than any other Texas city and a laid back attitude. I have lived here for more than ten years and haven't yet come up with a reason to move anywhere else. |
