A SMALL DOG( & HIS MUM'S) GUIDE TO KESWICK & AREA Everybody has heard of the lake district, we might not be sure where it is ( its in cumbria in the north of england) but we have all heard that it is beautifull. My mum decided to take me and my dad there this January . We arrived in the dark (along many windy twisty roads-not to be reccomended), so didnt get to see the famed scenery till the next morning- what a treat we were in for. To say that the scenery is stunning is an understatement, wherever you look are breathtaking views, a simple stroll to the shops is a visual treat! It was January so it was cold and wet, but that didnt detract from the views , in fact the mists just accentuated the beauty. Everywhere you went there were walks and trails- from easy lakeside strolls to hikes up to catskills. A walkers paradise (and even more of a paradise for a little yorkshire terrier). |
