I believe you will be able to find the facts of Amsterdam from other websites all over the internet. Hence, I will share my experiences and my feelings about Amsterdam here.
When I arrive at Amsterdam at the Amsterdam Central station, I feel that I have arrived at a multi-cultural place, with many tourists and locals. I see several hotels around the station. There are many tram stops and buses. hehe.. and my camera start clicking away... :-)
Getting around Amsterdam is pretty easy with a map from the central station. There are many connections to most places of interests from here.
Usually when I travel, I bring lots of negatives. However, during my Amsterdam trip, I only clicked 2 rolls of films of 36 exposure each. It is not many. I feel that Amsterdam is a place to relax, museum visiting, numerous good restaurants with different types of food from many different countries, and not much interesting architecture to take pictures. |

an interesting page ! It is better to visit Amsterdam in summer, but I am not sure, wether the "student discount" would apply then as well ?? ;-)) |
