Eating in Japan.

I love the "sushi bar" in Japan. Basically you sit at a long table around a travellator with many different types of sushi. You just have your pick and take whatever you want as the sushi come. There are complementary pickles, soya sauce and green tea at the table. You will be charged by per plate basis.

At a sushi bar, there's usually a selection of raw and cooked sushi. I only dare to try the raw salmon and other fish, except the raw prawns and squids. Raw minced meat sushi are out for me too.

We were desperate for sushi in Shinjuku, and was happy to find a sushi bar. But we only had 4 plates of sushi, cos the place looks a bit dirty and dodgy. The sushi are too raw for my taste too (none of the sushi selection is cooked sushi).
