Nottingham is one of the city around Loughborough. There are not much to do in Nottingham if you are there for sight seeing.
However, Nottingham has great pubs and discos. Wide selection of them too and crowded during the weekends. I usually go to Nottingham for shopping. It will get a bit crowded on the shopping streets on Saturday.
For sightseeing, perhaps you can walk around the town square and visit the castle to see Robin Hood! |

Admittedy, the original castle has been rebuilt and the new one is nothing special, but the oldest pub in England is below Nottingham Castle, in what used to be the castle's wine cellar. | croisbeauty Wed Sep 3, 2003 15:02 UTC
