How the trip to Croatia come about?

Wanting to go somewhere I have not been in Europe, and that it is not too expensive to visit, as well as there's no need for visa application. After finding out that I can travel to Croatia via Trieste (where Ryanair flies to), I decided to go for it. I booked a ticket on Ryanair during their "free" tickets offer period and paid GBP28 for a return tickets from Stansted Airport.

Getting to Rijeka by the public transport was not convenient since I wanna catch a ferry down to Dubrovnik and start my trip up North. Hence, we decided to rent a car, and rented it from Hertz through Ryanair.

We started our driving trip South, visiting many places and wherever looks interesting on our map and brochures. That's the advantage of a car. :-)

I had visited 4 countries!

I had visited 4 countries - Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Amazing, isn't it?

Well, our trips started in Italy, and we gotta pass by Slovenia to get to Croatia. In order to get to Dubrovnik along the coast, we gotta drive past Bosnia-Herzegovina.

I have collected some nice stamps on my passport too... :-)

I will not be building pages on individual towns or places here. I will summarise the whole of my Croatia trip here. All my tips will be in the "General Tips" section with brief description of the places and my impression on these places.

Ok, I am almost done on my page about Croatia. There are still lots of things to write about, but I cannot spend too much time already. :-) When I think of something, I will add on to this page.

very nice page, am glad you've enjoyed exploring Croatia (do not trust to much at Lonely Planet suggestions, ask locals it is much better and cheaper)
