Finally i've got some time to write about my home country.

The Netherlands is a densely populated country in western europe with currentely over 16 million inhabitants. More than half of the country lies on or below sea level and only in the south-east Limburg province will you find hills.

Most foreigners call the country Holland , which in not correct. There are twelve provinces in the country, of which two are called North Holland and South Holland . The most densely populated area (called randstad ) is the western part. This is also were the capital Amsterdam and the other big Rotterdam and Den Haag (The Hague) are located.

The Netherlands is a safe country, and it's easy to travel around.
The Dutch train network has frequent services throughout the country and distances are not that great. It makes The Hague and Rotterdam a easy day trip from Amsterdam. InterCity trains run every 15 minutes on these major routes.
