    • The SHRI SWAMINARAYAN HINDU TEMPLE (1995) is the first traditional Hindu Mandir in Europe. It was carved and constructed according to ancient Shilpashastras without any steel. The Exhibition 'Understanding Hinduism' gives an excellent introduction into the Hindu religion. The Mandir itself is an inspiring place. LOCATION: NW, Neasden, Underground Zone 3 plus 20 minute walk

    • THE MONUMENT was built between 1671 and 1677 to commemorate the Great Fire. For 1.5 BPD it's a wonderful and cheap alternative to the London Eye. But you have to climb 311 steps. LOCATION: City of London, Fish Street Hill

    • The ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS (KEW GARDENS) can be reached by Underground (Kew Bridge Station). The 121 ha park keeps such treasures like the famous Palm House (the original for the copy at Golden Gate Park, see the my SF page), the Princess of Wales Conservatory, a Pagoda, a Japanese Garden, an Azalea Garden,...and much, much more!
