The Tower Bridge is one of the world’s most famous bridges in the world and a remarkable blend of Gothic Revival style and functional steel construction.

The idea of a giant wheel is not new, but still good! Like the Viennese Riesenrad it provides a fantastic view of the city. Over the top is also the price. (So consider The Monument, see off the beaten paths) TIP: you don't have to board exactly, so do when you think that the light is right.

The Royal fortress is nearly 1000 years old and is an absolut must when visiting London. Come and see the White Tower, the Crown Jewels, the famous Ravens, the Yeoman Wardens and much more.

The masterpiece of Sir Christopher Wren, the greastest English architect! Build between 1675 and 1710 it is enormous and breathtaking at the same time. Come early to have enough time to go the lantern of the dome. Don't miss to vivist the crypt and have a coffee at the Crypt Cafe - which is a little strange next to the Nelson's Tomb for my understanding.

Visiting this cathedral as a tourist is great, but attending the sunday service shows another face of this important place of worship and history.

For me a must every time I come to London. Tremendous treasures have found very different ways to this place making this a very, very special museum, maybe one of the top 3 in the world. No further description would meet what awaits you there.

The national museum of modern art is housed in the former Bankside Power Station. The collection of international modern art from 1900 to the present day is exceptional as the building itself.

One of the best natural history museums I have ever seen! The building itself it outstanding, but the presentation of the huge collection is outstanding. A moving T-rex (pic) is just one of the many highlights. Great for kids! The new Earth Galleries with its earthquake room deserves special notion.

A enourmous and exceptional collection without a specific orientation! Outstanding are the sculpture galleries with works from Bernini and the Della Robia brothers and the unique cast courts with cast of the most famous work like Michaelangelo's David, the Trajan's Column in Rom and Ghiberti's Porta del Paradiso in Florence - it's just incredible! Likewise are Raphael's cartoons, which served as pattern for carpets in the Sistine Chapel (one carpet is also in the Referectory of Chester Cathedral!!!). Also remarkable are The British Galleries that cover the period between 1500-1900. Then there are a Japanese, a Korean, an Indian, a Costume collection,...and much, much more. My highest recommendations! Go there, but come back again and again.
