The scenery is breathtaking and the caves are amazing. Potholing is on offer here, as well as rockclimbing and some more sedate walks. Something for everyone I'd say. On the two days we spent here, it rained overnight and the road you see in the picture became a swollen river with boulders bouncing down the cliffs onto passing cars. Very scary!

    My mum had always told me to visit Cheddar Gorge, when I got there I realized why. It's stunning!
