A mini adventure Rob and I haven't had the chance to travel abroad much lately, but we do have to drive long distances in the UK sometimes. We've made a pact that whenever we do this, if the weather is fine, we'll make the most of the distance we have to travel, stay off the motorway see some points of local interest and make some time to appreciate the countryside.
On a recent trip to Glastonbury for the annual festival we drove past Stonehenge on the A303 and, noting from the map other stone circles, white horses carved into the hillside and ancient roads in the area, decided to explore further on our return trip. We were not disappointed! |
