clocktower - Calais

Ok, so I've never had a particularly good impression of Calais. The first impressions I had of it were arriving at the port having crossed the channel on the ferry (or the hovercraft...remember those?) It wasn't until a few years later that I actually visited the town. I'ts really quite pretty.

Pros and Cons

Pros:close to the port, pretty, great for shopping
Cons:Take care crossing the road
In a nutshell:Underrated
