I studied aborad in Krakow through the Jagiellonian University's summer school of language and culture. The program lasted six weeks, included accommodations in a very nice student hostel, three meals a day, classes, and weekend trips to interesting places around Krakow. The entire program cost only $1,700! Plus, Jagiellonian is like the Harvard of Poland, so schools in the US readily accept credits from it.
